The completion of the southern section of metro line M3 between Népliget and Kőbánya-Kispest is already under way. The functional tests of the mechanical systems are continuous, and the stations are starting to look more and more like the visual plans.
The elevator structures were completed in Népliget metro station, the area was covered with concrete slabs again, the spatial planning was done, and the road traffic was also restored. In the passenger areas, the cladding and ceiling elements are slowly coming into place at all stations. The elevator on Határ út metro station is already operational, although we still have to wait until the final commissioning.
The tracks were renewed almost on the entire line section, the laying of the ATC (Automatic Train Control System) program mat has also started, which will be carried out by the employees of BKV Zrt. within the framework of the reconstruction.
